Disable HTTP (non-SSL) communication (Optional)

Prev Next

You can enforce only SSL communication and disable non-SSL communication to all Database Security servers.

  1. Navigate to the directory where the configuration file server.xml is located:

    <Server install root>\McAfee\Trellix Database Security\conf

    Example: C:\Program Files\McAfee\Trellix Database Security\conf

  2. Delete or comment the connector element which does not have scheme=https enabled. This connector listens to port 8080.

    Tip

You can also enable HTTP communication only for local connections (from the same system) by adding the attribute address=127.0.0.1 to the connector entry.
