Activating Drive Encryption on the client system is the most important phase in the Drive Encryption installation process. The activation process enables the client system to receive the required policies and user assignments from the ePO - On-prem server for the first time. The Offline Activation feature allows you to activate Drive Encryption on a client system without connecting to the ePO - On-prem server.
