This integration automatically activates FIPS 140-3 mode at runtime across enterprise endpoints without manual configuration. Through this standard, all hardware, software, and firmware modules meet rigorous, independently tested requirements for encryption, key management, and tamper resistance. All operations comply with federal security mandates and enterprise security standards. ## Verify FIPS status To verify that the FIPS module is active on the endpoint, use one of these methods: ### Verify FIPS status in Trellix ePO 1. Navigate to the **System Tree** and select the system. 2. Click the system to open the **Systems: Information** page. Go to **Products** > **Product Properties** > **DLP Endpoint DLP Client**. 3. Check the following fields under **DLP Client properties**: - **FIPS Status: Active** (it shows Inactive if the FIPS module is not activated). - **FIPS Provider Version: 3.1.2** (or the corresponding version). ### Verify FIPS status in the DLP Endpoint console 1. Open the DLP Endpoint console in any client system. 2. Go to the **About** window. 3. Verify that the status area displays the following values: - **FIPS Status: Active** - **OpenSSL Version: 3.1.2**
