The 140 series of Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) is a set of U.S. government computer security standards that specify requirements for cryptography modules.

The Trellix FRP client makes use of the Trellix Core Cryptography AES (TCC AES) and WolfSSL cryptographic modules. These cryptographic modules have been validated at FIPS 140-3 Level 1. For more information, see articles 000015818 and 000015809.
