FRP User Assignment page

Use this page to assign an Trellix FRP key to users, user groups, or organizational units.

Important
Before assigning Trellix FRP keys to Entra ID users, follow the steps in article 000015151 to avoid issues with user synchronization.

Option	Definition
User Selection	Users — Browse to locate and select specific users. From the groups — Browse to locate and select user groups. Recursive — Assigns the key to users and subgroups of the selected groups (if applicable). From the organizational units — Browse to locate and select organizational units. Recursive — Assigns the key to users and subunits of the selected units (if applicable).
Authentication Type	Select one of these options: OS authentication — Enables users to access assigned keys using the authentication password. Password authentication — Enables users to access assigned keys using a password. Smart card PKI authentication — Keys associated with smart card authentication are available to users based on authentication with a smart card token. See KB89888 for more information about smart card tokens. Virtual smart card authentication — Keys associated with virtual smart card authentication are available to users based on authentication with a virtual smart card token. Note For Entra ID users, key assignments using smart card tokens and virtual smart card tokens are not supported.
OK	Assigns the key to the selected users and user groups.
Cancel	Closes the page without assigning keys.
