Installing the Drive Encryption software

The Drive Encryption extensions and software packages must be installed and checked in to the ePO - On-prem server before you can deploy the software to the clients and configure the policies.

In this guide:

  • EEPC 7.0.x refers to EEPC 7.0 or later

  • Drive Encryption 7.2.x refers to Drive Encryption 7.2 or later

  • Drive Encryption 7.3.x refers to Drive Encryption 7.3 or later

  • Drive Encryption 7.4.x refers to Drive Encryption 7.4 or later

  • Drive Encryption 8.0.x refers to Drive Encryption 8.0 or later

Note

Make sure that you remove any competitor's encryption products from your system. Do not install any other encryption products after installing Trellix Drive Encryption.
