Prev Next

An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a unique address that identifies an electronic system or device on the internet or a local network. IP of a system address is a set of four decimal numbers separated by a dot.

Validator

IP address Validator - The Regex expression (advanced pattern) for IP address does a first level of validation. The Regex checks for the format NNN.NNN.NNN.NNN, where every 3-digit number is delimited by dot. The IP validator then tokenizes the value using dot as a delimiter and validates each token in the range of 000.000.000.000 to 255.255.255.255.
