The Product Improvement Program (PIP) capability or the secure product telemetry framework, when enabled allows Trellix to collect data. You can choose to participate in the Trellix FRP Product Improvement Program and allow Trellix to collect data through Trellix Agent.
Purpose
Trellix uses the Trellix FRP data that is collected through Trellix Agent. The data collected is:
Analyzed by Trellix to improve product features and customers' experience with the product.
Used by Trellix Technical Support for troubleshooting.
Privacy protection
The Trellix FRP data collected by Trellix Agent is only used for product improvement and Technical Support. The system-specific data is filtered or used in aggregate form, unless it is needed for Technical Support.
