Self-Protection settings

Provides protection against modification of binaries, configuration files, caches and registries related to Trellix FRP.

Disable Self-Protection: This will disable Self-Protection but will not uninstall Self-Protection for Trellix FRP. Use this option to allow temporary modification of Trellix FRP binaries, configuration files, caches and registries for troubleshooting, testing or applying workarounds.

Uninstall Self-Protection: Allowed only after disabling Self-Protection. Removes/Uninstalls Self-Protection software from the client system, as viewed from Trellix FRP perspective. If Trellix FRP is the only product using Self-Protection, enforcing this policy will uninstall Self-protection from the endpoint.
