Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Long-Term Support Release
Important - Trellix is enhancing our Trellix DLP release process to better serve our customers' requirements. This is achieved via defining each release as either a Long-Term Support release or Feature Release. Feature release introduces new features; whereas, Long-Term Support (LTS) release allows customers (under tight change control) to maintain a stable Trellix DLP version without changes to functionality and existing features. The LTS release will include only security updates, bug fixes, and some optimization for the existing features by releasing only patches or hotfixes. As is currently the case, these releases will continue to be fully installable packages.
Note
The latest LTS release for Trellix DLP Monitor is version 11.10 Update 3.
For more information about LTS releases, see KB91807.
Updated platform, environment, or operating system support
For information on supported platforms, environments, and operating systems, see KB87112.
New or changed features
Support to define web user list in Web Protection rules — allows you to create or update non-LDAP or non-Active Directory-based web user lists, which can be used in Web Protection rules. With this feature, you can apply specific data protection policies to a list of custom web users. For example, you can update a privileged user list information that is imported. You can import or add, edit, or modify a web user list within the policies.

Appliance resolved issues
DLPN-12474 | This release fixes an issue where the System Health dashboard of an appliance showed high disk usage because of /logs. With this fix, the remote LDAP counters are not logged for non-existent LDAP servers in /logs/realtime/. |
DLPN-12522 | MegaSys.log shown in the root directory of Trellix DLP 7700 appliance used with DLP Capture Storage Array consumed huge disk space. With this fix, the MegaSys.log file is no longer available in /root directory. Starting with this release, the MegaCLI is replaced with Storage Command Line Tool (StorCLI), which allows Command Line Tools to manage and control LSI MegaRAID controllers. |
DLPN-12565 | This release resolves an issue where the MIB file upload to an SNMP tool failed because the identifier could not start or end with a special character. |
