# Application page

You can create, edit, or display application details, which can be associated with firewall rules, or add an application to the **Firewall Catalog**. (Windows & macOS only)

 

| Section | Option | Definition |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Name** |  | Specifies the application name (required). |
| **Executables** | **New** | Adds an executable. |
|  | **Add from Catalog** | Adds an executable from the **Firewall Catalog**. |
|  | **Action** | Lists actions that apply to the executables associated with the application: - **Edit** — Changes details of the executable. - **Duplicate** — Creates a copy of the executable, usually one that isn't editable. - **Delete**— Removes the executable from the application. - **Add to Catalog** — Adds the executable to the **Firewall Catalog**. (Not available if this page is accessed from the **Firewall Catalog**.) - **Break Catalog Inheritance** — Removes the inheritance of properties from the **Firewall Catalog**, if added from the **Firewall Catalog**. (Not available if this page is accessed from the **Firewall Catalog**.) |
