# Block and Allow List page

Creates and maintains a list of sites and site patterns that are blocked and allowed.

| Option | Definition |
| --- | --- |
| **Search** | Specifies a pattern to search for in the **Block and Allow List**. |
|  | **Search** — Searches all columns for the pattern in the **Search** field. |
|  | **Test Pattern** — Tests the pattern for a match with a URL or site pattern in the **Site** column. |
|  | **Clear** — Removes the pattern from the **Search** field. |
| **Site** | Indicates URLs, sites, or site patterns in the **Block and Allow List**. |
| **Action** | Indicates the action assigned to the site. \| **Allow** \| Users can access this site on computers using this policy. \| \| --- \| --- \| \| **Block** \| Users can't access this site on computers using this policy. \| |
| **Allow** | Users can access this site on computers using this policy. |
| **Block** | Users can't access this site on computers using this policy. |
| **Notes** | Indicates any notes associated with the site. |
| **Add** | Adds sites, and optional comments, to the **Block and Allow List**. |
| **Edit** | Changes the selected sites and the note associated with it. |
| **Delete** | Removes the selected sites from the **Block and Allow List**. |

| **Select an action** | Specifies the action to apply to the site patterns. \| **Allow** \| Allows users to access these sites. \| \| --- \| --- \| \| **Block** \| Prevents users from accessing these sites. \| |

| **Site patterns** | Specifies the list of sites to block or allow. For multiple sites, enter a comma-separated list or enter each site on a separate line. |
| **Notes** | Specifies an optional note to associate with the sites. |
