Configuring initial settings using the serial console port
If you are not using a terminal server, you need to be physically near the Endpoint Security (HX) appliance to use the serial port. The serial port is on the back of the appliance. See your Hardware Administration Guide to view the port location.
The serial port uses the following settings:
Baud rate: 115200
Data bits: 8
Stop bits: 1
Parity: None
Flow control: XON/XOFF
