# Create an installation URL

Create an installation URL and send it to the users so that they can install Trellix Agent on their managed systems.

### Task

1. Log on to the Trellix ePO - On-prem server as an administrator.
2. Select **Menu** | **Dashboards**, then select **Getting Started with ePolicy Orchestrator** from the drop-down list.
3. On the **Product Deployment** page, click **Start Deployment**, define these settings, then click **Deploy**.

  - **System Tree Group**
  - **Trellix Agent**
  - **Software and Policies**
  - **Auto Update**
4. On the **Initial Product Deployment Summary** page, click **OK**.

On the Dashboard page, the installation URL appears under **Product Deployment** section.
5. Email the URL with instructions to install the client software on the system.

After successful installation, Trellix Agent checks back with the Trellix ePO - On-prem server for assigned tasks for that system group, then installs the software accordingly.
