Create an installation URL

Create an installation URL and send it to the users so that they can install Trellix Agent on their managed systems.

Task

  1. Log on to the Trellix ePO - On-prem server as an administrator.
  2. Select Menu | Dashboards, then select Getting Started with ePolicy Orchestrator from the drop-down list.
  3. On the Product Deployment page, click Start Deployment, define these settings, then click Deploy.
    • System Tree Group
    • Trellix Agent
    • Software and Policies
    • Auto Update
  4. On the Initial Product Deployment Summary page, click OK.
    On the Dashboard page, the installation URL appears under Product Deployment section.
  5. Email the URL with instructions to install the client software on the system.
    After successful installation, Trellix Agent checks back with the Trellix ePO - On-prem server for assigned tasks for that system group, then installs the software accordingly.
