# ePolicy Orchestrator - SaaS components

The following components make up ePolicy Orchestrator - SaaS software.

 
 
 

- **ePolicy Orchestrator - SaaS** — 
 Trellix ePO - SaaS, the center of your managed environment, provides enterprise-grade security management in the cloud. It delivers security policies and tasks, controls updates, and processes events for all managed systems
- **Trellix Agent** — A vehicle of information and enforcement between the 
 ePolicy Orchestrator - SaaS and each managed system. The agent retrieves updates, ensures task implementation, enforces policies, and forwards events for each managed system to 
 Trellix ePO - SaaS.
- **Master Repository** — The central location for all 
 Trellix updates and signatures, residing on 
 Trellix ePO - SaaS. The Master Repository retrieves user-specified updates and signatures from 
 Trellix.
