Exclude files or directories from scanning

Exclude files and folder paths from an on-access scan or on-demand scan.

Click the Trellix menulet on the status bar, then select Preferences.
Click Threat Prevention, then click Exclusions.
Click , type the administrator password, then click OK.
Click in the bottom left corner.
Select the path of the required files and folders, then click Open.
Select or deselect the On-Access Scan and On-Demand Scan options as needed.
- To remove the item from the exclusions list, select it, then click in the bottom left corner of the page.
Click to prevent further changes.
