# Extract rpm or deb files from the package

Extract rpm and deb files from the Trellix ENS for Linux package.

1. Download the Threat Prevention package `McAfeeTP-<version_number>-<build_number>-Release-standalone.tar.gz`
2. Run these commands:

  - `Extract tar -zxvf McAfeeTP-<version_number>-<build_number>-Release-standalone.tar.gz`
  - `Extract tar -zxvf McAfeeTP-<version_number>-<build_number>-standalone.linux.tar.gz`
  - `Extract tar -zxvf McAfeeESP-Basic-<version_number>-<build_number>-Full.linux.tar.gz`
  - `Extract tar -zxvf McAfeeESP-KernelModule-<version_number>-<build_number>-Full.linux.tar.gz`
