# Firewall Catalog — Rules page

Display, add, or edit firewall rules in the **Firewall Catalog**.

 

| Option | Definition |
| --- | --- |
| *Item type list* | Selects the item to display (**Rule**). |
| **Show Filter Options** **Hide Filter Options** | Shows or hides the filter options. |
| *Filter options* | - **Name** — Filters by rule name. - **Status** — Filters by status (**Enabled** or **Disabled**). - **Action** — Filters by the action (**Allow** or **Block**). - **Direction** — Filters by direction: incoming, outgoing, or either. - **Network protocol** — Filters by the four-character hexadecimal Ethertype of the protocol. - **Transport protocol** — Filters by a selected transport protocol. - **Intrusion** — Filters by whether a blocked rule is treated as an intrusion (**Yes** or **No**). - **Local port** — Filters by local port number. - **Remote port** — Filters by remote port number. |
| **Set Filter** | Runs the filter. |
| **Clear** | Clears the filter and returns to the default view of rules. |
| **Import** | Imports rule data in XML format. |
| **Export** | Exports all rule data in XML format. |
| *Rules* | Lists the rules. - **Edit** — Edits the rule. - **Duplicate** — Creates a copy of the rule. - **Delete** — Removes the rule from the list. - **Export** — Exports rule information in XML format. |
| **New** | Creates a new rule and adds it to the list. |
| **Delete** | Deletes the rule from the list. |
