On Linux and Macintosh systems, Trellix Agent is installed manually using an installation script (`install.sh`) that ePO - On-prem creates when you check in the Trellix Agent software package in the ePO - On-prem **Main Repository** and indicate the operating system in use. Ubuntu Linux client systems have a slightly different manual installation method, which is discussed in later sections in the document. ### Note When you install Trellix Agent on Linux systems using the Sudo command or ePO push and use proxy to communicate between Trellix Agent and ePO - On-prem, you need to define the proxy environment variables for Sudo. You can define them in the `/etc/environment` or `/etc/sudoers` file. :
