Manage your Agent Handlers

You can install an Agent Handler on your AWS server similar to installing an Agent Handler on a physical server.

ePO - On-prem must be installed on your AWS server.

Follow these steps if an Agent Handler is used without a Load Balancer:

  1. Go to Menu → Configuration → Agent Handlers.

  2. Click New Group and enter virtual Agent Handler group name.

  3. In Included Handlers, select Use load balancer and specify Virtual DNS Name and Virtual IP address.

  4. Click Save.

  5. In Agent Handlers → Handler groups, go to the new virtual AH you have created and Enable it it in the Actions column.

    Note

    Agent Handlers are disabled by default. You need to enable it manually.

  6. Click Agent Handlers under Handler Status.

  7. Click the Handler DNS Name in the Handler List.

  8. Enter the Published DNS Name and the Published IP address.

  9. Click Save.

  10. Go back to the Agent Handlers page and click New Assignment.

  11. Enter a name for assignment.

  12. In Agent Criteria, select a system group under System Tree location.

  13. In Handler priority, select Use custom Handler and click + to add virtual agent handler.

  14. Click Save.

If an Agent Handler is used with a Load Balancer:

  1. Configure ELB on AWS console.

    1. Add Agent Handler VMs.

    2. Configure Firewall rules for ELB according to port requirements of Agent Handler.
