The Endpoint Security (HX) appliance has the following user interfaces:
Web UI—A Web-based UI used to configure and manage the appliance. This is described in The Endpoint Security (HX) appliance Web UI . The appliance Web UI includes a Dashboard, described in The Endpoint Security (HX) appliance dashboard.
CLI—A command-line interface used to configure and manage the appliance. To access the appliance CLI, see The Endpoint Security (HX) appliance command-line interface.
LCD Display—The LCD display and associated controls (available on some appliance models) can be used to initially set up the appliance. It can also be used to check system status and make certain configuration changes. This is described in The Endpoint Security (HX) appliance LCD display.
Caution
Do not change the password for the permanent api_analyst user account on the Endpoint Security (HX) server. Doing so could break the connection between the Endpoint Security (HX) server and Helix. If you need API connectivity between the Endpoint Security (HX) server and a third-party product, add another user account with the api_analyst role.
