# Policy-Based On-Demand Scan client task — Full Scan and Quick Scan

Assigns and schedules a **Full Scan** or **Quick Scan** **Policy-Based On-Demand Scan** client task.

Configure the behavior of quick and full scans in the **On-Demand Scan** policy settings.
