You can uninstall Trellix Agent from client systems on ePO - On-prem. The DXL client is automatically removed when Trellix Agent is uninstalled.
Remove Trellix Agent using the following methods:

You cannot remove Trellix Agent using the Product Deployment task.
After removing Trellix Agent, if there are managed products on the system, Trellix Agent continues to run in updater mode to maintain those managed products.
To check whether the system is in managed or unmanaged mode, run the cmdagent /i command. When you execute the cmdagent /i command, the following is displayed:
For Agent version 5.8.3 and later:
Agent mode: ePO On-Prem Managed [1]
Agent mode: ePO SaaS Managed [2]
Agent mode: Unmanaged [0]
For Agent version 5.8.2 and earlier:
[2]: SaaS Managed
[1]: On-Prem Managed
[0]: Unmanaged
