Set up VM data storage

Allocate more storage for VM system storage, data storage, and high-performance storage.

  • Your VM must have more than 4 CPUs.

  • Calculate your storage needs based on events per second (EPS) and retention policy. Your Trellix Sales representative can help.

Use high-speed storage such as SSD.

Minimum disk space requirements:

  • System storage - 500 GB

  • Data Storage - 500 GB

  • Index drive - 250 GB SSD

  1. On the system navigation tree, select System Properties, then click Database → VM Data.

  2. In each field, select the drive where you want the data stored. You can select each drive only once.

  3. Click OK.
