# Test the Web Control feature

When you install or deploy Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS) for Mac Web Control from Trellix ePO - On-prem, the Safari extension is not enabled by default.

You must manually enable the extension. For more information, see Trellix Knowledge Base article [KB89782](https://kcm.trellix.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB89782).
