Uninstall the SELinux RPM package

On uninstalling the SELinux package, Trellix Agent processes will not be under SELinux confinement and the SELinux policies will be unloaded from your system.

Run one of the following commands to uninstall the Trellix Agent SELinux RPM package:

  • Run rpm -e MFEma-selinux

    The sample output when you run the above command:

    $ rpm -e MFEma-selinux
    Uninstalling MFEma-selinux
    Finished uninstallation

    Or

  • For RedHat 7.x versions: rpm -e MFEma-selinux-5.8.x-<build-number>.el7.noarch

  • For RedHat 8.x versions: rpm -e MFEma-selinux-5.8.x-<build-number>.el8.noarch

    Example command:

    $ rpm -e MFEma-selinux-5.8.x-1.el7.noarch
    Uninstalling MFEma-selinux
    Finished uninstallation
  • For RedHat 9.x versions: rpm -e MFEma-selinux-5.8.x-<build-number>.el9.noarch

  • For RedHat 10.x versions: rpm -e MFEma-selinux-5.8.x-<build-number>.el10.noarch

Trellix Agent restarts in unconfined mode after uninstalling the SELinux RPM package.
