# Uninstall Threat Prevention from standalone systems

Remove the software from a standalone system using the command line.

1. Log on to the system as a user with administrator rights.
2. Navigate to the directory.

`cd /opt/McAfee/ens/tp/scripts`
3. Execute the command.

`./uninstall-mfetp.sh`
4. Type `yes`, when prompted.
