# Uninstall Trellix Agent from the Control Panel for unmanaged systems

You can remove Trellix Agent from unmanaged systems from the Control Panel.

### Note

In this scenario, the DXL client gets uninstalled automatically. You cannot uninstall Trellix Agent from the Control Panel in managed systems.

1. Open **Control Panel** on the target system.
2. Select **Programs and Features**.
3. Right-click Trellix Agent program and select **Uninstall**.
4. Click **Yes** to confirm uninstall the Agent.

### Note

If there are products installed on the client system already, Trellix Agent continues to run in the updater mode. In this scenario, the DXL client is not uninstalled.

:
