# Update Trellix Agent extensions

Before upgrading Trellix Agent, you need to update the extensions and software packages on the ePO - On-prem server.

1. In ePO - On-prem, select Menu → Software → Software Catalog.
2. On the **Software Catalog** page, select Category → Management Solutions. The list of available updates are displayed.
3. In the right pane, select **Trellix Agent 5.8**.
4. From the **Actions** dropdown, select **Update All**.
5. Select the branch where you want to check in the extensions and packages, then select **Update**.

When the update is complete, the product extensions are listed on the **Extensions** page and the installation packages are listed in the **Main Repository**.
