perform the following steps to remove and replace the Active Fail-Open module.
To remove: Slide the module out from any one of the two slots it is installed without shutting down the chassis.
To replace: Slide in the module into one of the two slots in the chassis while the power is on.
Note
A chassis reboot is required every time a module is inserted to keep the module active.
