Accessing the Manager from a client machine

To access the Manager from a client machine, do the following:

Open your browser and type the URL of the Manager server:
```
https://<hostname or host-IP>
```
Log on to the Manager by entering your Login ID and Password.
By default, the username is admin and the password is the last six characters of your Manager server instance ID. For example, if the instance ID of the Manager server is 0ca8dad7e9d231c8b, the password is 231c8b.
Note
To know the Manager server instance ID, run manager status command in the Manager shell.
Note
Trellix strongly recommends you change this password during your first interaction with the Manager. The new password must be at least 8 characters in length and must contain a combination of numbers, characters, and special characters.
