To add an alert to a query:
Select the alert you want to add to search query, click

and then select Add to Search Query.Select the parameters for the query.
Select a window time period for the query.
Note
The "period" defines a specific time window surrounding an alert. For example, a 1-hour period extends from 30 minutes before the alert to 30 minutes after the alert.
Select the dashboard to display the results.
Select Submit.
