This command helps in installing or updating the antivirus dat signatures for uvscan.

Syntax:avvdat -i <parameter>

Note

To get a list of parameters for the avvdat command execute avvdat -h command.

Sample Output:

IPSManager> avvdat -i /opt/scpfiles/avvdat-xxxx.zip

Install provided DAT file.

avvdat:Must be root. Attempting to sudo ...

Install provided DAT file.

avvdat:Installing /opt/scpfiles/avvdat-xxxx.zip ...
