Back up and restore your data

The Backup & Restore page under Settings > General allows you to schedule and run backups and restore data from a backup.

Trellix Wise™ for Private Cloud supports the following backup types:

  • Differential — Backs up changes since the last full backup.

  • Incremental — Backs up changes since the last backup of any type.

  • Full — Backs up the Configuration Database, Operational Database, and Vector Store. The Operational Database includes alerts, cases, and audit logs. The Vector Store contains Trellix Wise™ for Private Cloud memory and embeddings. Full backups are stored locally and offloaded to a remote location. Back up and restore your data

Backup artifacts are encrypted at rest using AES-256 GCM through FIPS-validated encryption modules. Backups are protected by a user-defined recovery passphrase and include a SHA-256 checksum for integrity verification. Back up and restore your data
