CAC Authentication UI enhancement

Prev Next

Previously, the CAC authentication was enabled only using the Manager database command line and the trusted certificates were imported and saved in the ca keystorefile using third party application.

Starting with release 10.1, the CAC Authentication page is introduced in the Manager UI to enable the CAC Authentication feature. You can also import the trusted Certificates to the Manage database here.

If you have enabled CAC authentication using the Manager database command line in the earlier version, you must reconfigure CAC authentication after the upgrade.

The CAC Authentication page has two tabs:

Enable: Configure the CAC Authentication here. In addition to this, you can also configure the Manager to raise alerts when the certificates reach expiration threshold and enable OCSP Options.

Trusted Certificates : Lists the trusted certificates in the Manager. This page allows you to Import, Export, or Delete certificates in the Manager.

The access the CAC Authentication page, go to Manager → <Admin Domain Name> → Setup → GUI Access → CAC Authentication.
