You can view details about a completed search query or a search that is still running. For searches that are still running, events are streamed into the search results as the search progresses.
Search status can be one of the following:
Completed
In Progress
Failed
To check search status:
Select Configure > Search in the main menu to open the search page.
Run a search.
Observe the status complete percentage and number of results at the top right of the search results table.
Click the Search Activity tab, or click the options menu at the end of the Search bar and select Search Activity. The Status column on the Search Activity page displays the current status of the search.

Click the arrow in the top left corner of the Search Activity tab to return to the Search page.
