cmc appliance ＜applianceID＞

Adds or removes an appliance record for the specified appliance.

Syntax

[no] cmc appliance <applianceID>

Parameters

no

The no form of this command removes the appliance record.

applianceID

The unique appliance ID of the appliance.

Example

The following example creates the appliance record called EX2400-3:

hostname (config) # cmc appliance EX2400-3

Use the show cmc appliances command to review the current appliance records:

hostname (config) # show cmc appliances
  Address:                    EX2400-3
  Enabled:                    yes
  Connected:                  no (connection attempt in progress...)
  Status check OK:            no
  Version compatible:         unknown
