Configuring a HelixConnect HTTP proxy

Prev Next

Use the commands in this section to configure an HTTP proxy through which the HelixConnect tunnel to the Trellix Helix cloud is established.

To configure the HelixConnect HTTP proxy:
  1. Go to CLI configuration mode:

    hostname > enable
    hostname # configure terminal

  2. Configure the HTTP proxy:

    hostname (config) # helixconnect http-proxy host <ip address or domain> port <port>
    auth-type <type> username <username> password <password>

where type can be none, basic, or ntlm.

  3. Verify your changes:

    hostname (config) # show helixconnect

Example

The following example configures an HTTP proxy that uses basic authentication.

hostname (config) # helixconnect http-proxy host 192.168.32.21 port 3128 auth-type basic username jdoe password ABCD1234
hostname (config) # show helixconnect

Note

For an example of the show helixconnect command output, see Checking HelixConnect status.
