The Sensor communicates with the Manager using the Management port.
Plug in a Category-5e/6/6a Ethernet cable into the Management port.
This port is labeled MGMT in the front panel of the NS3600 Sensor.
Plug in the other end of the cable into the network device connected to your Manager server.
Note
To isolate and protect your management traffic, Trellix strongly recommends using a separate, dedicated management subnet to interconnect the Sensors and Manager.
