Review this section before your proceed to integrate Trellix IPS with the VX appliance.

You need a Manager running on version 10.1.7.x or later and a Sensor running or version 10.1.5.x or later.
The Manager should have Signature Sets 10.9.x.x or later installed.
You need Virtual Execution software version 9.1.2 or later.
You can integrate multiple Sensors with the same VX appliance.
