Create and assign policy to managed systems

For EIA to communicate with the NTBA Appliance, policy must be applied to managed systems.

  1. From the ePolicy Orchestrator - On-premises console, select Policy Catalog:

    1. Select Product as Endpoint Intelligence Agent <version>.

    2. Select Category as EIA Settings.

  2. Click the My Default policy to edit it.

    1. Select the Device Type as NTBA from the drop-down list.

    2. Enter the source IP address.

    3. Enter the subnet mask.

    4. Enter the device IP address. The device IP address you specify here must be the same as the NTBA Management IP address running on your Manager.

    5. Enter the port number. Select the NTBA listening port for EIA connections and make sure that this port is not blocked by Firewall rules. Default port used on NTBA is 9008.

    6. Click Add Route and click Save.

  3. In the Menu → Systems → System Tree page, click Actions → Agent → Wake Up Agents for the new configurations to take effect. By default, the policy is applied to all groups/subgroups.
