Create instance groups for Virtual IPS Sensors

Log in to the Google Cloud and select Compute Engine.

In the left panel, under Instance groups , select Instance groups and click create instance group.

Select New unmanaged instance group and enter the following details:

1. Name: Define the name for your instance group.

   Tip

   The instance name must begin with a letter. It can contain only lowercase letters and hyphens (-) as special characters.

2. Location: Select the required Region and Zone from the drop-down.

Navigate to the Network and instances section and enter the following details:

1. Network: Define the required network from the drop-down.

2. Subnetwork: Define the appropriate subnetwork from the drop-down.

3. VM instances: Select the required VM instance from the drop-down.

(Optional) Configure the required ports in Port mapping.

Click Create.
