Both Network Security appliances must be connected to the Central Management System appliance before you can create an HA pair. The method for creating the pair is the same whether:
You have two new Network Security appliances. You connect them to the Central Management System appliance, and then create the pair.
One Network Security appliance is already connected to the Central Management System appliance. You connect the other Network Security appliance to the Central Management System appliance, and then create the pair.
You need to replace one of the Network Security appliances in an existing Network Security HA pair.
The following sections describe how to create the pair after both appliances are connected to the Central Management System appliance.
