Creating Azure Blob storage using the CLI

To create Azure Blob storage for the File Protect appliance using the CLI:

  1. Enable the CLI configuration mode:

    hostname > enable
    hostname # configure terminal
  2. Create the storage and enter the names for the Azure Blob storage, blob container, and queue from your Azure Blob storage account.

    hostname (config) # fmps storage create azure name <name of storage> app blob container <name of container> queue <name of queue>

    Example:

    hostname (config) # fmps storage create azure name FSTest app blob container devTest1 queue myTestQ
    Storage operation completed successfully
  3. View your Azure Blob storage configuration.

    hostname (config) # show fmps storage type azure
    Storage Type: azure
    
    Name:         FSTest
    Share Type:   Source
    App:          blob
    Status:       Share is mounted and connected
  4. Save your changes.

    hostname (config) # write memory
