Perform the following steps to configure the inactivity timeout for a local session via Manager shell:

In the shell, open the file named profile located in etc directory using any text editor.
Add the following lines at the end of the file:
TMOUT = < inactivity time period (in seconds) >
readyonly TMOUT
export TMOUT
Save the configuration and re-login.
