Database Tuning

Steps:

For more information, see ipsmanager database tune in the CLI commands section of the Trellix Intrusion Prevention System Product Guide.

1. Log in to the Manager shell using a console client with the credentials below:

   • Username: admin

   • Password: admin

2. Stop the Manager service using no ipsmanager enable command in Manager shell.

3. Execute ipsmanager database tune command in the Manager shell.

   The database tuning process will be initiated. You can run show ipsmanager database tune status to check the progress.
