Delete a Sensor from the Manager

Delete the Sensor from the Manager:

1. Start the Sensor software.

2. Log on to the Manager.

3. Go to Devices → <Admin Domain Name> → Global → Add or Remove Devices.

4. Select the Sensor from the Add or Remove Devices page.

5. Click .

6. Confirm the deletion.

Clear the configuration information on the Sensor:

1. In the Sensor command prompt window, type deinstall.

   This removes the trust relationship between the Sensor and the Manager.

2. (Optional) Type resetconfig.

   This clears the configuration values on the Sensor and restarts the Sensor.

   Note

   resetconfig does not clear values such as Sensor name, and Sensor IP. You must reset those values manually.

3. Type show to view the configuration settings.

4. To exit the session, type exit.
