Deleting all the event filters from the configuration using the CLI

Use the commands in this topic to delete all of the default event filters, custom event filters, or both from the configuration.

To delete all of the default event filters from the configuration:
  1. Go to CLI configuration mode.

    hostname > enable hostname # configure terminal

  2. Delete all of the default event filters from the configuration.

    hostname (config) # event-filter tapsender config remove default

  3. Apply your changes.

    hostname (config) # event-filter tapsender config apply

  4. Verify that the default event filter rules are no longer set.

    hostname # show event-filter tapsender configuration default

    Default filter version : 1
    status    type    pending_op filter name  field             op_type  index value 
To delete all of the custom event filters from the configuration:
  1. Go to CLI configuration mode.

    hostname > enable
    hostname # configure terminal
  2. Delete all of the custom event filters from the configuration.

    hostname (config) # event-filter tapsender config remove custom

    Note

    You must use no event-filter tapsender filter-name all drop if you have the filter set to drop all event types.

  3. Apply your changes.

    hostname (config) # event-filter tapsender config apply

To delete all of the default and custom event filters from the configuration:
  1. Go to CLI configuration mode.

    hostname > enable
    hostname # configure terminal
  2. Delete all of the default and custom event filters from the configuration.

    hostname (config) # event-filter tapsender config remove all

    Note

    You must use no event-filter tapsender filter-name all drop if you have the filter set to drop all event types.

  3. Apply your changes.

    hostname (config) # event-filter tapsender config apply
