In case a network port or link is down, the 2 port link (link failure detect) feature ensures that the corresponding peer port or link is also down. Perform the following steps to disable 2 port link:
Steps:
Click the Bypass tab to access the bypass configuration page.
Go to the Advanced features section.
Select off for the 2 port link feature.
By default, a 2 port link is enabled.
Click Apply to save your configuration.
Result: The 2 port link is disabled.
